Bumpy Road Films was established in 2010 in London aiming to make world cinema, overpassing languages, cultural differences, and borders to tell the most compelling stories.

Nora Alsharif

Born to Palestinian parents, Nora grew up between Kuwait, Cairo and Amman with a passion for Cinema since a young age. After a career as a Graphic Designer she decided to pursue filmmaking and moved to London in 2009 where she obtained a Masters in Directing Film & Television from the University of Westminster. Her graduation film “Wednesday Afternoons” won the Don Quixote Jury Award in Poland and was screened in many international festivals worldwide.

In 2013, she was selected among 300 filmmakers from around the world to attend the 11th Berlinale Talent Campus, part of the Berlin International Film Festival, where her short film “Ismail” participated in its Editing Studio and went on to premiere at the Palm Springs short film festival and London Short Film Festival and won several awards including Best Short Film at the Alexandria Film festival.

She currently resides in the US where she is developing her first feature film project.

Ana Moreno

Ana is a Venezuelan-American filmmaker working in television, film, and advertising.

Her work has aired in top networks such as CNN and Discovery. Her short film 'Mosa' won the prestigious Iris Prize British Award in 2010 and is part of the permanent collection at the British Film Institute and the Inter-university Permanent Research of “Gender, Aesthetics and Audiovisual Culture" (GECA) of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in Spain.

A traveler at heart and always seeking to tell impactful stories, her projects have taken across Europe, the United States, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.

She holds a Bachelors in Telecommunications, Information Studies and Media from Michigan State University, she’s studied Avant-Garde and British Cinema at the British Film Institute and obtained a Masters in Directing for Film & TV at the University of Westminster in London.
